Central Texas Lath & Plaster Services

We have the manpower and equipment to provide services from the individual home owners, to up-scale residential projects, and multi-building commercial structures. We specialize in large volume, high productivity projects and deliver the highest quality interior and exterior workmanship. Along with traditional three-coat plastering, we do many foam, one-coat, and steel stud applications.

Equipment
Over the last twenty plus years of operation, Central Texas Lath & Plaster has accumulated a vast array of equipment. These resources enable us to handle any size job from the smallest single family project to the largest multi-family project. Our equipment ranges from a fleet of Skytrak forklifts to several dozen tractor-trailer loads of scaffolding, which will allow us to handle the largest of projects.

Bidding
All of our estimators understand plans and the various systems available and will point out potential challenges, like a foam thickness that is incorrect for a system which if used would not be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.  They can suggest alternative methods that may reduce cost while maintaining the integrity of the overall project.

We provide our estimators with the best technology available and ensure they are trained to use it.  We can bid from regular paper plans or electronically which saves your company in plan print fees, deliveries, storage, and tracking.  Our estimator’s also follow a rigorous checklist which ensures they give you a price per plans, so there are no surprises down the road with something that may have been missed.

Every job is bid in a timely manner.

Pre-Start / Post Paperwork
Once the contract has been signed we have staff that concentrates on getting you all of the submittals, insurance certifications and other necessary paperwork before the job is started.  We also make sure you have the proper warranties and other close out papers so your job close out process is not delayed.

Scheduling
As soon as a project is approved, our schedulers communicate with the appropriate person in your company to discuss time required for the system bid, and projected scheduling dates.  The schedulers maintain regular contact with the Foreman / PM to ensure that when you are ready for us, we are there.

Our schedulers are knowledgeable about project specifics like the system used and the current available workforce, making the necessary adjustments so the schedule is met. When needed the schedulers are authorized to hire additional men, to keep the job on schedule.

Systems
We are certified in numerous stucco applications. We will never have to stop and wait for someone to be trained or be forced to find another company to do a specific job.

Service
Each job is assigned a bi-lingual superintendent who is the single point of contact for your job.  This person attends all required meetings and follows the jobs from start to finish.  He oversees the workmanship, orders materials, monitors the workforce and is always available to discuss issues with your superintendent and deal with them before they become problems.

Safety
Every employee that works in the field is certified in Scaffolding and Ladders.  All employees attend weekly safety meetings above and beyond that of the contractors.   In addition, we employ an independent safety coordinator that checks our jobs and has the authority to shut a job down if something needs to be corrected.

Billing
Our billing department makes sure they understand your specific billing forms so they are filled out correctly.  They also coordinate with the scheduling department to ensure the forecasted billings are accurate.  This reduces extra work, hassle and phone calls from your accounting staff.

Warranty
We employ full-time staff to assist you with all warranty applications, inspections and timely service when necessary to help keep your customers happy.
